What’s the Recovery Process Like?

You’ll be able to return home within a few hours of your otoplasty procedure, with a bandage around your head to help with swelling and bruising after the procedure. These things are normal, and will subside rather quickly.

You’ll experience some mild aching and a bit of throbbing for the next few days, which can be easily resolved with medication we’ll provide you. In most cases, you’ll be able to return to work within two to three days, and children are typically clear to return to school within five days.
